Grá Wellness
A calm, light yoga room with an arched window and mats laid out for a small class

Grá Wellness: a kinder, stronger, happier you.

A nine-mat studio outside Athboy, classes at the community centre in town, and a founder who left a corporate career to do this. Welcome to Grá Wellness.

Fiona Mullen, founder of Grá Wellness in Athboy, Co. Meath

How did Grá Wellness start?

Fiona Mullen is an accountant by profession. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008, later completed a Diploma in Taxation, and spent 18 years in the corporate world.

Her own road to wellness was not a straight one. An autoimmune diagnosis, and some tragic events in the family, made her slow down and rethink everything. Looking after her health came first.

In 2024 she took a leap of faith and started Grá Wellness, a space built on movement, community and connection. It was the first time she followed her heart over her head. Today it brings people together for yoga, Pilates, breathwork and meditation.

Whether you are dealing with stress, burnout or just a busy life, our classes and retreats are a space to breathe, move and reconnect.

Grá means love in Irish.

It is the energy we bring to everything we do.

What we stand for

Movement

Movement is medicine. We help people get stronger and move more freely, at any age and any level.

Mindfulness

Time to slow down, breathe and reset, with a little stillness before you head home.

Community

Small classes, tea after, and community events where nobody stays a stranger for long.

Meet the team

We recently attended a free yoga event on the Fair Green in Athboy on a beautiful summer evening. Everyone was made so welcome; people of different age, mobility and experience were all genuinely accommodated. Fiona is the warmest teacher and now I have signed up for one of her classes to get back into yoga on a regular basis.
