What is children's yoga?

Children's yoga is yoga made playful. Kids stretch into animal and tree shapes, play breathing games and finish with a few quiet minutes. It helps them feel strong, calm and confident, builds balance and coordination, and above all it is fun.

In a world full of noise, screens and busy schedules, kids need a way to slow down too. Little Buddhas gives them one, at their own pace, with no pressure to get anything right. It is also a chance to make new friends.

Five age groups

Every group is pitched at its age, from the youngest movers to teenagers. Tell Fiona your child's age and she will find the right group.

What age can my child start kids yoga?

From about 18 months. Our youngest group, Wobblers and Toddlers, is for ages 18 months to 3. There are groups for pre-schoolers, kids, pre-teens and teens too.

Does my child need to be flexible or sporty?

Not at all. Kids yoga is about play, balance and having fun. Every child moves at their own level, and there is no right or wrong way to be a tree.

What should my child wear and bring?

Comfortable clothes they can move in and a bottle of water. If they need a mat or anything else, Fiona will tell you when you book.
