Your first visit

What newcomers ask before their first class. Not sure which class suits you? See all classes and times.

What to bring

Comfortable clothes you can move in and a bottle of water. If you need your own mat or anything else, Fiona will tell you when you book. Nothing fancy.

When you arrive

Come in a few minutes early and say it is your first time. You will be shown where to go and where to leave your things, and helped to settle in.

The first ten minutes

A quick chat first, so your teacher knows about anything that could affect your class. Then a gentle warm-up before the main class.

Not sure what you are doing?

That is completely normal. Your teacher explains and shows each move as you go. Nobody expects you to know the moves or the words.

Tell us about injuries

Message before your first class about any injury, recent surgery, pregnancy or other health matter. You may need clearance from an appropriate healthcare professional first.

Stay for a cuppa

After class the kettle often goes on. Stay for a chat if you have the time.
